Counting down the days until French Quarter Festival

Known as Louisiana’s best free music and food festival, the French Quarter Festival will draw thousands of people to the city’s oldest neighborhood April 11-14.

Nearly 50 bands will make their festival debut this year, including Galactic, Sweet Olive String Band and Doro Wat. Popular returning acts at the WWL-TV stage near the Jazz Museum at the Old U.S. Mint include Benny Grunch and the Bunch, Astral Project and Margie Perez.
