Behind every good man is a great woman. At McCord Butchery, Jackie McCord is that woman, standing beside her husband Chef Sam McCord as they realize a dream together.
Jackie spent 10 years in the hospitality industry, working as a front desk manager, sales assistant and assistant manager. After meeting Sam, she left the hospitality industry to pursue her passion in education as a first grade teacher at St Paul’s Episcopal School for 13 years, followed by Isidore Newman.
In 2023 Jackie and Sam opened McCord Butchery, a meat, seafood and provisions shop where she runs front of house operations.
