Being a good Samaritan

by The 100 Companies

The narrow passage of the Big Beautiful Bill raises concerns for many about how our country treats the less fortunate. A recent Gospel (Luke 10:25-37) is timely. What does it mean to be a good Samaritan?

Identify with the feelings of others. Empathy guides how we can effectively help.

Make yourself available by putting aside your own needs to bolster others. What is going on in their lives? Listen and act.

Use your time, talent and treasures to help the less fortunate. Share your gifts.

Be a good and selfless neighbor, for “love isn’t love until it is given away.”
