At WWL-TV and WUPL-TV, we take our commitment to the community seriously, not just with exceptional local news coverage, but with projects and programs that truly change New Orleanians’ lives.
We strengthened our community to fight and acknowledge the effects of crime with our Taking a Stand initiative. Employees also volunteer time to support nonprofits during Make a Difference Day.
We also respond to emergencies like the Baton Rouge floods. We helped the United Way raise nearly $800,000 for area flood victims. We are proud to be the proven spirited, compassionate, and courageous authority in our community.
