Catholic Charities’ PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) provides a customized, comprehensive package of health services to keep elderly individuals living in their communities.

Since 1942, Volunteers of America’s Adoption and Maternity Program has helped create thousands of loving families through adoption. As a licensed adoption agency, Volunteers of America works with parents to offer openness in adoption, assistance with medical care, free counseling and follow-up support.

Throughout New Orleans, there are an average of 400 children in foster care each day. The number of foster care cases is rising and state budget cuts are deepening, limiting resources and time that social workers can spend recruiting foster families.

In 2016, Tom Cannan and Amber Olsen’s daughter Willow was diagnosed with Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency (MSD), a rare and fatal type of lysosomal storage disorder. Rather than give up, the Olsens found a treatment, but it lacked funding. They created the United MSD Foundation and Warriors for Willow. They hope to fund the work to develop a clinical trial in time for Willow.
