If you’ve ever wondered what makes WWL-TV so special and important in our community, look no further than the recent tornadoes in the area.
Sure, Louisiana’s News Leader provided top-notch news coverage of this heartbreaking disaster, but it also put a team of volunteers together and brought smiles, supplies and hope to victims in New Orleans East. The station partnered with United Way and has helped raise thousands of dollars in donations and supplies like tarps, water and plywood.
