Chalmette Refining employees and business partners recently participated in the Fourth Annual Fishing Rodeo benefitting United Way of Southeast Louisiana.
Both kids and adults angled for prizes for redfish, speckled trout and drum, to name a few. It was a fun-filled day that raised over $100,000 for United Way, almost doubling monies raised in 2022. All of the proceeds will provide funding for programs in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.
Investing through United Way helps more children succeed in school, more families lead healthy lives and more people grow their incomes to become financially stable.
