JEDCO, JEFFERSON PARISH SEEKING FRESH IDEAS FOR FAT CITY

JEDCO teamed up with key local and regional partners to identify innovative ideas for redeveloping parts of Fat City.

Located in the retail heart of Jefferson Parish, Fat City has long been a key area for growth and prosperity in the community. Now, economic development and government leaders want to find the best uses for public/private owned land in the neighborhood by soliciting interest from developers and firms. Ideas could include a vision for recreational pocket parks, community gathering spaces, public parking, library space and more.
