Disney’s The Lion King returns to New Orleans

by The 100 Companies

After 24 years on Broadway, “The Lion King” reigns as one of the most popular stage musicals in the world. Finally, the show returns to New Orleans Oct. 27-Nov. 13 at the historic Saenger Theatre.

Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, “The Lion King” has made theatrical history with six productions worldwide running over 15 years – four of those running 20 or more years.

The show’s musical score reflects a fusion of the distinctive sounds and rhythms of Africa and Western popular music, including Elton John and Tim Rice’s songs from the original animated film.

Tickets are on sale now.
