The comedy “Noises Off” is onstage at Jefferson Performing Arts Center April 12-21, featuring an all-local cast directed by Harold Heno.
This 1982 Tony-nominated play by British playwright Michael Frayn – called “the funniest farce ever written” – became a popular 1992 movie featuring Michael Caine and Carol Burnett.
Director Harold Heno, who returned from NYC to New Orleans during the COVID-19 pandemic, says of “Noises Off”: “To this day, it’s still the funniest show I have ever seen or directed, and I am thrilled to share it with another audience!”
