The New Orleans Foundation for Francophone Cultures (Nous) will host its annual gala May 7 at 520 Royal St. at the Historic New Orleans Collection’s museum. This gala celebrates Nous’ collaboration with HNOC, as Nous open its new cultural space at 602 Toulouse St. in the heart of the French Quarter.
Nous also opens its newest exhibition – “Musique(s)!” – celebrating Louisiana’s musical heritage in French and Creole. This exhibition, running May 7-June 30, will be complemented by the release of an original book and vinyl (May 7), all made possible through the support of the Library of Congress.
