VIA LINK provides Louisiana with a statewide Teen Crisis Text Line, available 24/7/365. This text line is answered by trained Crisis Intervention Specialists with clinical oversight. These caring specialists work with youth on issues such as depression, bullying, eating disorders, human trafficking, opioid misuse, adolescent stressors, thoughts of suicide and more. All texts with our specialists are confidential.
Simply send a text to 833-TXT-TEEN (833-898-8336). The Louisiana Department of Health/Office of Public Health provides most of the financial support for this program in efforts to keep our youth safe.
