Tomato lovers, rejoice. One of the most unique festivals in the city’s 300-year history, the 32nd Annual Creole Tomato Festival, took over the streets of the French Quarter Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10.

Celebrating one of New Orleans’ most famous recipe ingredients, this festival took place in Dutch Alley, at the French Market and at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Visitors and locals alike enjoyed tasting the delicious food featuring the festival’s signature item, listening to music, participating in a tomato eating contest, walking or running in the two-mile race and browsing the Bloody Mary market.
