18th annual Satchmo SummerFest

As summer wraps up, festival season marches on with the 18th annual Satchmo SummerFest. Catch the fest at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old New Orleans Mint Aug. 3-5.

Daily admission is $5 (children 12 and under are no charge). Proceeds will go toward supporting local musicians and funding the event. Festival attendees can enjoy delicious eats, craft beer and a full lineup of local musicians.

Take a shady bike ride down Esplanade Avenue or hop on the streetcar line. If you drive, convenient parking is available just outside the festival grounds at the French Market lot.
