Deutsches Haus, established in 1928, is one of the oldest cultural membership organizations in New Orleans and celebrates the music, food, language and history of German culture. Host to many German-themed experiences, Oktoberfest is its annual flagship event, held on the grounds of Deutsches Haus (1700 Moss St.) along the banks of Bayou St. John. Come out this Oct. 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and/or 28 to enjoy the authentic beer garden under majestic oaks.
The stunning Deutsches Haus is open year-round and extends a German “Gemütlichkeit” welcome to everyone who visits. See oktoberfestnola.com or deutscheshaus.org for info.
