The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana Young Professionals presents the 2024 Día de los Muertos Festival at Lafayette Square on Saturday, Nov. 2 from noon-6 p.m. This colorful family-friendly event will feature music, dance, food and arts and crafts highlighting the vibrancy of the Mexican tradition and the Hispanic culture at large.
Included in the day’s program will be live entertainment, a costume contest, children’s activity area and a Día de los Muertos ofrenda. The event is free to the public and promises to provide the community with a fun-filled day at one of the city’s historic parks.
