There’s nothing like Mardi Gras in New Orleans, but the pandemic is forcing celebrations to be different this year. With over 5,000 homes participating, the Krewe of House Floats found a way to provide a safe alternative to the traditional Carnival season by raising awareness and donations to help support local artists and organizations affected by the pandemic.
WWL-TV has partnered with the Krewe of House Floats to air a half hour special that will feature the creativity and resiliency of locals throughout the Greater New Orleans area while they Mardi Gras at home!
