A millennial is defined as a anyone born between 1981 and 1996. As this group has entered the work force, many are seeking satisfaction outside of their 9-to-5 jobs through volunteerism. Many people look forward to retirement so they can do nothing. For Sam Cooper, a 97-year-old volunteer extraordinaire, retirement gave him the time to help others.

The New Orleans Chamber Ambassador Committee is a group of volunteers who assist with chamber events, membership retention and more.
