This week’s trifecta announcement at Michoud Assembly Facility is validation of the strategy to redevelop Michoud as a diversified public-private facility in 2011. Boeing, Advanced Cutting Solutions and Sinter Metal Technology, representing both public and private sector firms, typify the companies that now call Michoud home.
Our journey to remake Michoud as a public-private facility has taken us on a path to welcome more than 15 companies from Textron to Ochsner to film production firms. Further, Sinter Metals continues Louisiana’s nation-leading trend of foreign direct investment, and represents the first investment from Liechtenstein in Greater New Orleans.
