Chalmette Refining employees were honored recently by the United Way of Southeast Louisiana at their June 14 Annual Meeting, where Chalmette Refining was named the No. 4 Most Generous Company in Southeast Louisiana for the 2022-23 campaign year.
United Way services those in need in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes. Chalmette Refining also received the Outstanding Commitment to Southeast Louisiana (Mid-Sized Company) Award.
“I am honored and humbled to receive these awards on behalf of all our employees that volunteer, advocate and fundraise for United Way,” said Elizabeth Ellison-Frost, employee campaign coordinator for the Refinery.
