More women are pursuing career advancements in the workplace; however, finding support systems can be challenging. To fill this gap, the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce partnered with Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. in 2019 to create Power Up: Women’s Leadership Conference.
The all-day conference provides opportunities for women to accelerate their professional development with keynote speakers, breakout sessions and networking. The fourth annual conference is scheduled for April 19. Sixteen women’s organizations in the region will lead sessions on topics about career transitions, empathetic leadership, mentorship and allyship.
