Chalmette Refining is proud to make the products that keep the world moving. We are embracing green energy by converting an idled unit to make Renewable Diesel.

The Renewable Diesel Unit and new Pretreatment Unit will be on-line for the second quarter 2023. Here are some statistics about the project:

• Total project cost is $600 million.

• It will produce 20,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel and create 55 permanent jobs.

• Chalmette Refining and the project are committed to using local businesses and contractors. Suppliers can apply online via the Chalmette Refining website.
