Geaux Far Louisiana retreat welcomed local voices, valuable data to create new strategic plan

The state of Louisiana has seen momentum as to what effective early childhood education should look like and what support children need. However, despite this momentum, Louisiana continues to have a disjointed system for children and families.

Geaux Far Louisiana aims to create a unified early childhood experience that amplifies family and provider voices alongside data.

That vision came full circle at the coalition’s recent retreat, which welcomed a coalition of families and community providers. Together, they developed a strategic plan that aims to fully support the whole child by funding and implementing the changes needed in early childhood education.
