My father died two days after Easter. What a glorious time to reflect on the example he set.
I am reminded of a sermon I once heard. It began, “If you have a Rolodex, you have a ministry – those are your people.” While maybe unknowingly, my father touched countless people, serving as an inspiration to everyone he met. His decisions were based on what’s the right thing to do and he carried a moral compass from the workplace to the tennis court to community, setting the highest standards.
He lifted others to be their best. I know he did me.
