Coronavirus is causing concern as the number of confirmed cases continue to rise. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) considers the risk of coronavirus to be lower than the influenza virus. Adults 65+ years, children and pregnant women have the highest risks of complications.
Precautions the public can take against the flu include:
• Get the flu vaccine.
• Wash hands often; germs live on surfaces for up to two hours.
• Keep hands away from eyes, nose and mouth.
• Avoid crowded public places; use hand sanitizers after exposure.
• Supplement with Vitamin C to boost immunity and reduce cold and flu symptoms.
