A lifelong advocate of women’s issues, I opened Gambel Communications planning to hire recent college graduates and teach them the “right way” to do public relations. While not intentional, my hires were mostly female, and we were affectionately known as the Gambel Girls (with occasional Guys throughout the years).
Mentoring young women has truly been a highlight of my career, and the pride I have in watching Gambel Girls is boundless. In honor of National Women’s Small Business Month, this issue of The 100 spotlights some of our women clients, and we salute the others as we celebrate their successes.
