Oldest self-service supermarket opened at a new location

Zuppardo’s recently opened a brand-new store in October. Same location, bigger store.

Zuppardo’s Family Supermarket is the oldest self-service supermarket in the New Orleans area. It has been a family tradition for over five generations.

The new store includes an expanded meat and seafood department and a larger produce section, plus a wide range of ready-to-eat delicious, hot and cold foods. There is also a wood-burning oven for made-to-order pizzas and a dedicated cake-making demonstration area. Additionally, the store will feature in-store seating.
