Chef Leah Chase and her family make their public television debut in a new national cooking series The Dooky Chase Kitchen: Leah’s Legacy,” premiering April 29.
In anticipation of the new culinary series, WYES will host a tasting and launch party Saturday, April 1 at the WYES studios in Lakeview. Poppy Tooker will interview members of the Chase family who are the stars of the show and guests will enjoy a cooking demo, watch the first episode and sample dishes from the series.
Tickets are $45 and available at wyes.org/events. Proceeds help support future local cooking series and WYES documentaries.
