I really love going to vote in person and wear my “I Voted” sticker with pride. But this year, I’ll be out of state so it’s an absentee ballot for me.

It’s easy to check your voter registration, find out where to vote, learn who your elected officials are and request an absentee ballot. Start by heading to the Voter Portal, where, in addition to checking your registration, you can view parish-specific information, learn about early voting, view sample ballots and more.
