The Historic New Orleans Collection was founded by Leila and Kemper Williams, whose elegantly renovated French Quarter home brimmed with high style of the mid-20th century. Their Christmas decorations were no exception.
Today, the former residence is a house museum, and every December, THNOC staff decks the halls with the Williamses’ original holiday flair. Last year, decorative arts curator Lydia Blackmore delved into the political and material implications behind some of the decor.
