WWL-TV’s meteorologist David Nussbaum has been a TV and weather enthusiast since fourth grade. He was his high school’s first weatherman and built upon that experience at California University of Pennsylvania where he earned a degree in Operational Meteorology.
Dave laughs, “I went from being very afraid of storms to chasing them!”
He worked in different cities and stations as a meteorologist before landing in NOLA. Dave started working at WWL-TV in 2014 and since, every hurricane season, he keeps viewers up to date on severe weather. He also visits local schools to teach students about weather patterns.
