Natalie Shepherd hails from Michigan, where she grew up and studied English Literature at Kalamazoo College before earning her master’s in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University. She always said that making the switch from English to television was easy because it allowed her to continue to write while experiencing the world.
Now that she’s here in NOLA, Natalie lives in Mid-City, where she and her husband frequent Brown Butter for its great food and friendly staff. Her favorite person in the city right now is Jarrius Robertson, who not only received a liver transplant but also an ESPY award.
