The 2017 Innovation That Matters study ranked New Orleans in a list of 25 cities for innovation and entrepreneurship.
New Orleans placed 19th all around, third for most improved since 2016, and second for its startup culture. The study focuses on each city’s ability to adapt to the technology-driven business world. Each city was analyzed by capital, connectivity, culture, density, industry specialization and talent.
“New Orleans is full of opportunities for business growth and development, and it’s wonderful to see a reputable study confirming our city’s potential,” said Ben Johnson, New Orleans Chamber President and CEO.
