The end of the year’s a great time to evaluate your business’ progress and set goals for next year. Start by looking at your current business plan. Is it up to date? Are you on track to meet long-term goals?
Compare numbers to last year’s. Did you spend more or make more? A major part of staying on top is tracking revenue and expenses and updating your budget reasonably.
It also doesn’t hurt to send an end-of-the-year survey to customers. You can always be your own critic, but consumer feedback can help spark ideas for improvement.
