Stories told through demolition

by The 100 Companies

The days are long. The years are short.

When we look up, look back and notice the passage of time, we start taking measurements of life.

Unless a disaster has struck, demolition takes place when land value transcends structure value. The old house or warehouse no longer matches the value of surrounding structures.

I recently demo’d the former home of lead contractor for The Causeway Bridge. He was a legend, the older neighbors told me, as they gathered to watch the house come down. But the youngsters pushing baby carriages kept on strolling.

Demolition has a way of telling stories.
