Award-winning journalist and New Orleans native Lucy Bustamante was inducted into the Den of Distinction on Thursday, May 11, at The Chloe.

An invitation to join the Den is the highest honor a Loyola University New Orleans School of Communication and Design alumnus can receive. Since 2012, graduates who have distinguished themselves nationally through a formidable body of work and extraordinary professional and personal accomplishments are considered for entry.

Bustamante, a 2002 Loyola graduate, is the 20th recipient of this honor. Bustamante is the morning news anchor at NBC in Philadelphia and contributes to NBC News reporting on veterans’ issues.
