Zoom fatigue is the eye-pain, headaches and stress that comes from constantly staring at video calls.
Using a new study from Stanford researchers, here are some ways to deal with Zoom fatigue and make your calls less strenuous:
• Zoom out of full-screen and use the reduced window — this helps with excessive amounts of extreme close-up eye contact.
• Use the “hide self-view” button — staring at yourself constantly in real-time is tiring … we don’t do this in real life.
• Give yourself an “audio only” break — taking a minute to stop watching the screen can provide a sense of relief.
