Meta just released Threads, a Twitter-like competitor. With over 100 million users in the first week, it’s clear that Threads is a strong competitor in the digital landscape. The app aims to replicate Twitter’s experience, while bringing fresh features to the table. Here’s what to expect:
• Posts can be up to 500 characters long and can include links, pictures and videos up to 5 minutes.
• Engage with others using likes, re-posts and replies.
• Eventually, the app plans to add voice notes, photo and video tagging and post reactions.
• No hashtags, but there are plans to add them in the future.
