Bringing dance to a new generation

by The 100 Companies

For over 50 years, the New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA) advanced dance culture by cultivating understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of dance – reaching over 30,000 dance enthusiasts of all ages each year through world-renowned company presentations on the city’s stages and through dynamic, innovative education and community services.

This season, NOBA’s internationally recognized, award-winning Center for Dance celebrates 30 years of providing accessible, inclusive, comprehensive, quality arts instruction.

Annually, NOBA educates, trains and nurtures individuals ages 4-80+ with over 5,000 youth dance and arts movement and health/wellness classes and activities – all completely tuition-free – at up to 20 sites throughout New Orleans.
