Jefferson Performing Arts opens “Billy Elliot” on March 28. The musical, featuring Charlie Stover as the titular character, tells the story of a young boy from a coal mining village in northeast England who transcends class and circumstance to become a ballet star.
Stover was recently in Los Angeles playing the lead role in a new musical, “It’s All Your Fault Tyler Price,” and has recurred on the show ” Yellowstone ” and the Apple TV series “Acapulco.” He made his Cannes Film Festival debut for the film ” Riddle of Fire ” and his recent movie, “T his Bloody Country,” comes out later this year.
