When family is scattered from New Orleans to South Carolina to Pennsylvania, it’s challenging to get everyone together. Added the age difference between grandchildren, 9 to 17, the task is even greater.
But I was determined to host “Cousins’ Camp” at my Pass Christian house in August. While we missed Emily (age 10), Collin, William and Sellers spent beach time with Bets. Cat Island fishing, skiing and tubing; train museum and trampoline center; Sunfish sailing; floundering; flipping crepes; and poring over storied family photos brought us together with joyful hearts – and hopeful intentions to repeat.
