Fidelity celebrates International Women’s Day

The Rotary Club of Mid-City New Orleans celebrated International Women’s Day with a brunch at Propeller. CMO of Fidelity Bank, Tammy O’Shea, presented an overview of the state of women owned business. “Women are not only starting businesses, they are staying in business,” commented O’Shea.

From 2007-2016, women-owned businesses grew at a rate five times the national average. There are over 9 million women-owned businesses in the U.S., employing nearly 8 million people and generating over $1.4 trillion in revenues. Fidelity Bank launched a program for women in business.
