Alice Tapper is proving that you’re never too young to change the world. At 11 years old, she recognized that fewer girls raised their hands in class than boys. She decided to do something about it and wrote a book.
She also brought it to the attention of her Girl Scout troop, and Girl Scouts of America created a patch for girls who pledged to raise their hand in class and get three other girls to do so as well.
Alice Tapper continues to inspire other girls across the nation to speak up and find their voice. Girls rule!
