When it comes to Gen Z, everything old is new. This includes landline phones. Thanks to TV shows like “Lizzie McGuire,” “Mean Girls” and “Gilmore Girls,” landline phones are selling out on eBay. Some young people are even hanging the phones on the wall as décor and not plugging them in.
Most American adults don’t have landlines anymore. Fact is, providers are phasing them out globally.
Some advantages to having a landline include better phone quality than cell phones. Landline phones don’t run out of battery and it’s easier for kids to use while keeping them away from screen time.
