New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity’s (NOAHH) Rising Oaks development is a $56 million project aiming to create an affordable, innovative and eco-friendly community. The 150-home development includes cottages for seniors and veterans, along with two-, three- and four-bedroom single-family homes with a mid-century modern theme.
The mixed-use space incorporates commercial and retail components that are tailored specifically to the community. Rising Oaks addresses the critical need for workforce housing, benefitting first responders, healthcare professionals, educators and hospitality workers. Designed to promote affordable homeownership opportunities, the development emphasizes sustainability and inclusivity.
