Thanksgiving is the perfect time to focus on an important step of the fundraising cycle’s four stages: identify, involve, ask and thank.
In fact, saying “thank you” impacts donor loyalty and future giving.
Donors thanked within 48 hours are four times more likely to give again, and new donors who receive a thank you call within 24 hours increase their next gift by 39 percent.
On the other hand, 13 percent of donors stop giving if never thanked.
So, what are you waiting for? Get those Thanksgiving cards and notes ready, add a thank you stamp and say thank you.
