Manage mental health when work requires social media

by

Social media and mental health are words we now see together often.

How do you manage your mental health when you’re submerged in a world of online negativity? Many might think it’s as simple as getting offline – however, many jobs now require the daily use of social media.

If you don’t have the option of unplugging, there are some steps to take. Spend 10-20 minutes a day meditating to decrease anxiety – Headspace is a great option. Monitor your accounts and unfollow anyone or anything that causes negativity. Set goals for what you need to do online and don’t linger.
