Restore the Mississippi River Delta is a coalition of the Environmental Defense Fund, National Audubon Society, the National Wildlife Federation, Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana and Pontchartrain Conservancy. Together, these organizations are working to restore coastal Louisiana’s nationally significant landscape to protect people, wildlife and jobs.
As our state faces a land loss crisis, this coalition offers science-based solutions through a comprehensive approach to restoration, with an emphasis on reconnecting the Mississippi River to its wetlands. Volunteer opportunities are available through Restore the Mississippi River Delta’s partner organizations.
