Restoring a New Orleans Landmark

by The 100 Companies

Because of unfortunate damage to Gallier Hall’s iconic granite facade, a full forensic architectural analysis revealed the need for extensive renovations to the historic building. This realization, coupled with its architectural importance, made the preservation of this landmark an ideal undertaking for the 2018 Tricentennial Legacy Project.

Gallier Hall served as City Hall for over a century and the restoration extends to its elegant interiors and historic collection of paintings and decorative objects, many of them gifts from foreign governments.

The vast interior and exterior refurbishments have already begun with the intention of restoring it for generations to come.
