New Orleans native Harry Connick, Jr. celebrates the country’s essential workers in a two-hour special featuring an all-star cast. Connick and his daughter Georgia traveled the country in an RV to produce the special called “United We Sing: A Grammy Salute to the Unsung Heroes.”
It culminates in New Orleans with musical performances by Connick, Trombone Shorty and Irma Thomas. Other guests include Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Drew Brees and Tim McGraw, as well as appearances by Oprah Winfrey, Queen Latifah and Renee Zellweger, delivering surprise messages to unsung heroes.
